"Your in Neverwinter Woods, this land is loosely controlled by Lord Nasher and Neverwinter. But the wood has always been eerie and a bit strange, I suspect and Ive been wandering the woods for years. That there are planar gates scattered around allowing creatures to appear. There have been sightings of demons, elementals and such like over the years." Replied Harn as he bit into a piece of bread, before throwing some dried meat at his belt to his hound.
"The best example of this is that the river is heated by fire elementals in the mountains. Thats why it never freezes, thats why its Neverwinter." he smiled

The young sorceror listened to the hunter, "Fascinating, Harn, fire elementals, you say?"
"So, how far did you say Crestfallen is?" he asked, glancing towards the sun, nervously.

"Yes my young freind, Fire Elementals. "Replied Harn nodding
"I think we can make Crestfallen in a couple of hours and we have more than 3 hours daylight left. Should be plenty of time."

Date : Ches the 12th, Year of the the Rogue Dragons (1373 D.R.) Location :Crestfallen, Neverwinter Woods Time : Evening Weather: Its cold.[/b]
Harn rose to his feet, smiled and sad "We best be off then"
Waiting for the party to mount their horses, he stood beside his Wolfhound. whistling what sounded like a popular sea shanty. Then once everyone was on a grey horse that appeared at the edge of the clearing.
Leading the party on what could only be described as a meandering path through the woods. On the journey the lack of animal life and general earieness of the woods is not unnoticed., one deer being the only exception.
Within a couple of hours as the dusk began to sweep in, the ragtag group arrived in a clearing in the woods, much like the shade village, it was composed of nothing less than about a half dozen small buildings surrounding a large building in the middle. The large building was a Saw Mill that hasn't seen use in what looks like months.
"Crestfallan is only used in Summer for loggers, using the wood to build boats at Neverwinter. In the other seasons, its used by travellers as a safe refuge. There may be others here, Ill have a check about if youd prefer?" he stated

"Aye, t'would be best," said Cathmhaol quietly, not liking the silence in the woods.
Assuming that Harn moves forward into the village:
Cathmhaol said nothing as the hunter moved his horse forward, but looked around at his comrades and put his hand purposefully on his sword to warn them to be on their guard.

As Harn moved forwards, Zeric worried that Cathmhaol was going to let the stranger go off on his own. It wasn't that the sorceror had a suspicious nature - well, if he was brutally honest, it was that he had a suspicious nature. The news that the encampment was empty this time of year only served to enhance those suspicions.
He moved his horse over to the warrior, leaning closer and whispering, "Cathmhaol, do you consider it wise to allow that one to wander off on his own? He may bring any manner of 'company' back with him... Perhaps it may be wise to ask Dace if he would keep a watchful eye 'pon our friend the hunter... If nothing else, 't'will give us an idea of how the land lies hereabouts."

Dace kept his eyes and ears open, observing, looking around, checking on everyone's motions, as if reading more from the unfolding scene than was normally possible. His eyes read everything, the ground, nearby scrub... It was as if he was expecting trouble at any moment.

Zeric nodded, "Yes."
He sent his flying cat off on the trail of Harn with a cautionary, "Be safe..."

<Rumbleskin>
With an uncharactaristic turn of speed, the dwarf ran over to Harn, legs pumping in a rhythm that looked like it could be sustained over distance...
Not in the slightest bit out of breath, Rumbleskin catches up with Harn amidst a squeal of iron and comments "Right y'are laddie, shall we?"

Harn and Rumbleskin did a wide circle round the clearing that the small holding of Crestfallen was in. There as no visible sign of any one following or even that anyone had passed this way recently.
The tressym followed the dog, which seemed to do a similar circuit but in the other direction
"Lads, lets settle down for the night, can you do the food girl?" the hunter asked Delora
"Yes of course I can," She replied, as she scuttled off to her horse to empty the saddle bags of food.
