<Rumbleskin>
Rubleskin looked releived as he fell more than slid off the back of his horse before the oppressive feeling quickly invaded his features once more.
Turning to the leader of the group, Rumbleskin announces, loudly enough for all in teh group to hear:
"Cath, now I kin only rightly speak for mesel', but I still cannae shake that feelin' fro' yon village. It almost feels like somethin' be followin' us.
"I think I'll take a stroll aboo' an' see what I kin shake up. I'm not the best at this mind, but..."

"Theres no need to do that little fella, your instincts are good. Ye'v been followed for the last 5 or so miles, by myself." shouted a loud baritone voice across the clearing as a large bearded man stepped into view, at his side a large wolf hound snarled at Zerics Tressym that flitted between the trees.
"Well met Adventurers my name is Harn, Harn the Hunter. Youve just come from the Village of the shade and I think Lord Nasher is going to want to hear what you have to say."

OOC: Hearne the Hunter? Altogether now: "Robin, Robin... The Hooded Man!
Zeric regarded the newcomer warily, partly out of concern for himself and for the safety of his familiar.

Returned to the campfire, Dace looked at Harn, head slightly at an angle. Then, looking at Cathmhaol, he shrugged, but, without making it obvious, positioned himself so he could, if necessary, approach this newcomer from the side.

OOC: Harn? Christ... "Lord Nasher, eh?" said Cathmhaol, "Who's he?"

OOC- Made up in a couple of minutes... "Lord Nasher, ruler of Neverwinter. I guess he's of no importance around here in this wood." replied Harn "If your willing we can make the small logging village of Crestfallen by sun down. They dont have an Inn but the stables are warm and your horses will be well catered for" he contiued

<Rumbleskin>
Pulling his pipe out of his belt pouch and stuffing it with tabac, Rumbleskin's features wrinkeled up as he smiled at the newcomer and said:
"Now what, s'posin' we'd nae be willin', would be happenin' to our merry band o'travellers Harn?, be ye requestin' a service or statin' a fact?"

"Ill be requestin' dwarf, I have no reason to get into a brawl with you lot." He sighed
"Anyway, you all look tired and weary. I can lead you a safe path through these woods. There is strangeness here you dont want to bump into. Put it that way, strangeness that shouldnt be seen by mortal beings" replied the Hunter with a smile.

Zeric stepped forward, motioning for the man to wait a moment, "We shall confer and give you our answer directly, my good man."
He motioned for the group to gather.
OOC: Assuming they do...
He spoke in a low voice, "I'd advise taking him up on his offer of shelter. We are not yet clear of danger, I suspect, having only put a few miles between us and Melgaunt. Even if he is leading us into a trap, it would be far less effective since we will be expecting it. I say let's take him up on a visit to this Lord. Perhaps he can supply us with news of the lands around the 'Hold and Daggerford and quite possibly, what to expect in the countryside between Neverwinter and Waterdeep..."

Dace nodded and, on Cathmhaol's word, patted the pistol crossbow hanging at his belt. "Understood."

"Well, Harn," Zeric said, turning to greet the man, "It seems that we shall take advantage of your kind offer of hospitality, after all. Lead on and Well Met!"

"Well that food smells nice, I think we can have a half hour or so before we need to leave and the shadows have left you alone. I dont know why?" He mused as he sat down by the fire and his wolf hound huddled around his legs.

Cathmhaol said nothing but glanced at Dace and Delora and indicated they should keep watch. Indicating that Zeric should sit and rest, he pulled a piece of bread from the loaf that was warming on a stone next to the fire and took a bite.
As he chewed, he said, "So Harn, what can ye tell us o' the land hereabouts?"

Eneval quitely observed this newcomer, attempting to discerne his intentions.
To the rest of the party his unbroken gaze might have seemed a little odd but the Elf had not spent much time around humans or dawrfs and was not always aware of their social norms.
