Date : Ches the 13th, Year of the the Rogue Dragons (1373 D.R.) Location :Melfaunt Village of the Shade, Neverwinter Woods Time : Early Morning Weather: Cold[/b]
The night passes without incident the rota arranged by the efficient Cath, working well for the protection of the adventurers. Awakening to the smell of cooking bacon, the adventurers eat the small boar that Harn had captured in the early hours of the morning, before setting out off on the small track that leads off to the north west.
The small hunters track leads within an hour to the edge of a river, the Neverwinter River, which Harn previously claimed was heated by Fire Elementals to keep it ice free. The track soon expands, getting wider almost into a road but it the journey gets easier and the elven steeds cope well with the now much easier terrain.
The track from the woods soon joins a paved road, the road itself leading down towards a beautiful oval shaped walled town. The shape of the walls seems to look like an eye, the long axis running east to west following the river that flows into it. At the far western end is the harbour and at the far eastern end is what looks like a small wooded hill, looking like a garden or park, but its not only the area of green within the towns walls. "The City of Neverwinter," said the Hunter pointing to the walled town, "Ill lead you to the the gates, where I must leave you. My role is outside the City, not within it." The large man led the adventurers down the slope, towards the south easterly gate. The city itself has four gates a north easterly and north westerly gates on the other banks of the river. Whilst on this side of the river are two more gates, in almost a mirror image of the north side, a southw esterly gate and a south easterly gate.
Arriving at the gate you see what looks like a small fortress behind it. At the gate itself are a number of guardsmen, all with mark of Neverwinter on their sheild. The marlk of Neverwinter is a sideways M pointing to the right connecting three snowflakes of different hues. Harn walked up to the guards, and after a brief conversation he beckons you forward, indicating one of the guards. "This is Lardin, he's in charge of the guard here. He'll take you were you have to go, youll have a meeting with Nasher this evening ." with that the hunter shook your hands got back on his horse quickly, waves at you and rides off.
The guard leads you through town, he doesnt say much, before arriving at an impressive building whose sign porclaims it The Moonstone Mask. The guard then enters and talking to a man in the large dinning room that seems to take up most of the ground floor. After a brief discussion a maid leads you to some rooms, you each have one each, on the first floor of the inn.
OOC- Its mid afternoon and your in the town of Neverwinter. There is a number of things to do if you want. Ive sent rumours to all the human characters... so they have a fair idea of whats going on (they may be out of date too). The non humans have not as Rumbleskin is at least 300 years out of date and Eneval hasnt really been in human lands.

<Rumbleskin>
Rumbleskin stuck his head around Dace's door and said:
"Dace, lad. Do ye know iff'n tha group kin stretch to some gold fer a dwarf stuck outa time? I have me a terrible thirst and a tap room is a good place to pick up all sorts'o gossip an' other things.
"I've a mind to sample th' local brew and see whut's whut..."

Zeric watched Dace for his response, knowing that he did not have any objection, provided it was rumour the dwarf sought and not a hangover.

Dace shrugged. "Better ask Cath, but I don't think it's a problem. I'm a little strapped myself or I'd stand you a few. I can stretch to a round though." he said, heading down to the tap room; he intended to have one, two tops with the Dwarf, before heading out to explore the area.

"I think everyone is low on funds, this being the first town weve been in since we met up." replied Delora
"Its not like we dont have plenty of things we can sell, if we needed"

OOC: Aye, we're down to our last 702 gold pieces, so we're obviously strapped...! Raising his eyebrows at his colleagues pitiful attempts to pay for a round, Cathmhaol said, "Hald yer whining, I'll stand ye's a drink." He stumped over to an empty table and signalled to the bar for a round of drinks. As he waited for the barmaid to bring them over, he said, "Well now, apart fr' selling the junk we've been cartin' around, what else do ye lads an' lassies want t' do?"

<Rumbleskin>
Blushing at the generosity of the group and counting the number of drinks that had been offered, Rumbleskin answers:
"Thank 'ee all. Now, Cath... Delora be roight - not only be this tha first to'n I been in since I met up wi' ye, t'is also tha first to'n I been in fer nigh on three hunnerd year. Even then, me halls gave e'rythin' we needed an' visitin' to'ns an' such were just fer trade an' booze.
"Can any o' ye suggest what a Dwarf should do in one o'yon to'ns other than do what comes natural like an' drink an' talk an' sing?"

OOC- well you will have to pay for lodging in Waterdeep, which in a word isnt cheap. But your correct you have a fair amount of cash
As Kev is away, I think Eneval will go with Delora anyway & anyone else who wants to go as well. "My father, used to speak of the Shining Knights Arms & Armour, he said it was better than the many of the dwarven smiths in Waterdeep or any of the lands in the North. Id suggest we take the armoutr there, he may give us a good price for the drow armour and the helm. He also did business with a jeweler in town called Carnack, he should take the gems. Close to Shining Knights is a weaponsmith called the Sacred Blade, I think that would be a good place to start for the weapons. Have I left anything out?" She responded "If youd like I could take those and haggle for a decent price? If anyone wants to tag along Id like that too?" The elf Eneval, nodded in the corner.

With an uncharacteristically cheery grin, Zeric announced he would accompany Delora and Eneval to the weaponsmith's, "We can stop by your jeweller's, 'lora and maybe get a fair price on these gems. What say, Cath?"

Dace finished his drink. "Might as well tag along." he smiled.

Cathmhaol shrugged, "Seein' as yer all plannin' t' leave me drinkin' alone, I think I'll join ye." He looked into his drink with a ghost of a smile on his face, "Hmmph, save their lives an' this is the thanks I get..." he muttered.
