"Aye, I'd agree wi' that!" said Cathmhaol.
He turned to face Kirdan, Alzhedo and Myr. "Well, ha' ye made yer minds up yet?"

Alzhedo nodded, "Im not sure, but Ill stay for a bit. Maybe there are great things planned for us all?"
Myr stepped forward. "Id agree with him, your a godless bunch and in Throgbur's case his beauty may lie deeper than his skin. I will stay if you'll have me, Firehair has important work to do here, I suspect. Ive never been one for taking orders, though. Can I ask what your plan is for this band?"
The young noble then said "Sure why not? Its the most fun Ive had in years. Beats hanging around my dad's Barony dont you think? Going to ask any of the other misfits, Cath? "

"I am not yet sure of my plans, but ye can see there is a lot o' work needed here. We need t' make this place secure afore we make sure we are not bothered by the lizard men ag'in. There will be toil f' sure but rewards will surely follow", Cathmhaol said, eyeing up one of the ladies-in-waiting.
"As f' the rest o' the Misfits? I am minded to take the dwarf, though surely he will need a bath afore we can introduce him t' decent folk. The rest, I am not sure... Ye know them better than I, so what say ye?"

"Id just ask them, Cath." Replied Kirdan. " Its difficult to say who'd want to join or even leave. Many of them have reasons for being in the Misfits"

Cathmhaol turned around to find Zeric hanging around with apparently little to do. "Ye look like yer in need o' sommat t' keep ye occupied", he said with a cruel smile. "I tell ye what, ye can be my second-in-command! Yer first job's recruitment when we get back to the 'Ford..."

Zeric's face betrayed his 'delight' at the 'honour', "Truly, you are too kind, oh lord and master."
He sketched a mock bow, before continuing, taking Cathmhaol's arm and steering him off from the others.
“Well Cathmhaol, it does depend rather on what your focus of skills is for the… let’s call them a garrison, shall we? If you want fighters, then despite the stench, I’d suggest Vane, Bellandra and Kirdan, if we can prise him away from the womenfolk long enough. He may turn out to be a discipline problem, but possibly not if he has the correct “guidance” – something I’m sure you can provide the lad with?” Zeric said after some moment’s thought. “Everything does, however, depend on the numbers you wish to recruit for this job. How many did you have in mind? This will determine your choices. You need access to a broad range of talents. Myr has healing magic from her Goddess, as does Kendrick, but his type can be arrogant and… shall we say erm, “stifling” to a sense of either “free enterprise” or some of the cloudier decisions one must take. Personally, I’d choose Myr over him any day.”
Zeric paced beside Cathmhaol, continuing his assessment, “Glimmerstone is probably a no-no. I’d say his talents may be useful given enough time, money and thick enough walls to contain his creations, but we have none of those, do we? Besides, gnomes can be ‘frustrating’.”
“As for Perry. I’d take that one along. Useful in a fight and can get into places, even Garrion could not. You never know when that might come in useful,” he stated. “Last is Kally. What to do about Kally? I find him to be both irritating and likeable at the same time. His songs remind me of goatherds, listening all day to the noise of their charge’s farting, but when he sings as the Misfits train, have you noticed how everyone performs just that little bit better? Maybe that’s because they feel the sooner they get off the practice field, the sooner they can wash out their ears – I don’t know, but nonetheless, it is true about the performance.”
Zeric stopped walking, turning to Cathmhaol, “Well, that is my assessment, for what it is worth. The decision is yours; the joy of command and all that, eh?”
He walked away, leaning on his shortspear for support.

"Aye, as ye say, but I think I'll keep yon big fella for the time bein'", replied Cathmhaol to the departing mage.
"See that ye recruit the rest o' them when we get back".
