Garat looks around him "Shadow?? ... Shadow ..." followed my something that sounds like instruction in a foreign language, just as he is finishing a black wolf stalks up and he scratches it between the ears.
"That is me ready now" swinging his pack onto his shoulder. "not spent much time underground, but have been under deck in the fiercest of storms" he replies with a grin.

as the platform descends Garat kneels next to the cub scratching behind his ear with one hand while muttering soft words into his ear, in the same foreign tongue, the other hand in the hilt of his sword.
