OOC- this is the culmination of the last two threads were players decide if they want to split up again. Ill have you arrive at roughly the same time....
Date : Ches the 4th, Year of the the Rogue Dragons (1373 D.R.) Location : Daggerford Castle Time : Late Afternoon Weather: Clear and cold with a few clouds in the sky[/b]
With the sun low in the west and Selune now being visible in the east. The entourage of the Baroness is impatiently waiting when you arrive. It is now getting colder and darker, which hasnt improved the Baronesses mood
"Sergeant, weve been waiting her for the best part of an hour waiting for your men. It will now be dark by the time we get back to Cromm's Hold and it will mean a late night." Seemingly full of anger she breathed deeply."However, I have arranged for the release of your services to myself and Cromm's Hold. Oh and I see we have some more men recruited, care to introduce them?"

"I can only apologise, ma'am", said Cathmhaol, "It won't happen again". He scowled at Zeric as if it were his fault and barked, "Zeric, introduce the lads!"

Zeric waved his hands in the direction of the assembled worthies, "My Lady. I have the pleasure of introducing Cromm's Daggers. Ladies and gentlemen, step forward one at a time and tell the Baroness a little of yourself. And mind your p's and q's!"

OOC: Judging by Paul's latest post, that may be something you need to do in character, Tom!

Zeric looked on at the silent mob and stepped forward, "Milady, may I have the pleasure of introducing Sir Kendrick a knight of some renown, Perrin the Halfling, Kally, the Bard of our group; brought to chronicle the deeds of this company, Balladra the Dwarf, Vane, an intrepid hunter of the foul undead and a cleric of... erm, who was it, Vane?"
He nodded towards the others, "I believe you are already acquainted with the others, Garrion, a lad who shows some promise. "[/quote]
OOC - The above people have been left at Cromm's Hold.....

Stepping forward first the kobold bard stepped forward abd bowed "Ma'am I am the Magnificent and Monsterous Kally. the foremost, the best and probably the only Kobold bard in the whole of the North. Ill write a great song in your honour, if I may?"
The baroness smiled returning the kobold's bow. "Its a pleasure dear Kobold, Im sure you'll be a credit to the Daggers"
Saluting the Baroness came the halfling, "Unfortunately Baroness, I have no grandiose title. Im Perrin, sometime fighter and tracker."
The baroness bowed and said "its a pleasure to meet you, Perrin"
The next up was the dwarf, stroking her beard. "Hello Baroness, Im Bellada daughter of Bron Irongoat. A dwarf as you can see. I offer you my arm and my axe."
Surprised by the dwarves confessional, "A lady dwarf! My My. Are you a blacksmith as well, Bellada?"
The dwarf nodded, smilling "Ive been known to dabble"
"Well I am Sir Kendrick of Waterdeep, a man of noble birth and noble demeanour ma'am. Its an absolute pleasure to meet a woman of fine breeding, there aren't many in these parts. " droned on the man at the end of the line.

"Ah, well Zeric appears t' have appropriated the title 'Sergeant', ma'am. I'll ha' t' give thought to a suitable rank f' myself but in the meantime, Cathmhaol will be fine", he replied.
"I can only apologise again f' bein' late, but we'll make it back t' Cromm's Hold tonight if we leave now. We'll need torches t' light our way but there's enough o' us t' make anyone think twice about givin' us any bother".

The sorceror shook his head, "No, that's Throgbur (he's always wanted the title). Zeric will suffice, Mi'lady."

Date : Ches the 4th, Year of the the Rogue Dragons (1373 D.R.) Location : Cromm's Hold Time : Late evening Weather: Freezing cold
Arrviving in Cromm's Hold in the late hours of the evening. The air is crisp around you bitting deep into your clothes. Now that the temperature has dropped below the freezing point of water, you can see your breath forming clouds of condesation as the exertion from the trip takes hold.
There are lights on in most of the houses in Cromm's Hold giving a warm and homely sight to the village thats on the edge of a swamp. The Baroness seems happy to have arrived home she pulls up her horse as you enter the village.
"Cathmhaol, its been a tiring day for me and I must have dinner before I go to bed. Id invite you in for something to eat, but Im afraid my demeanour may not be the best this evening. If you require a drink and a bite to eat I suggest that you head to the Robin's Breast Inn* where you can get what you need. If theres nothign else Ill bid you goodnight."
* - can be seen on map of Cromm's Hold....
