Im going to be doing a little tidying up around here. Amending some of the threads, adding new ones, etc. So if threads appear, disappear or merge. You know whey. I'm trying to get the narrative to merge together a bit better and hopefully organising some of the information a bit better. I was thinking of moving it to Harv's board, but Ive decided I just need to tidy up a bit arrange things a bit better and get a little more traffic this way. Also I have hinted recently of a new addition coming in, this will probably occur with the next adventure (it may be a NPC or a PC or a mixture of the two), without giving too much away. More revealed as and when. In addition, if anyone has any suggestions or thoughts to running this a bit better, it is very welcome. Given the quality of the other boards, I'm trying to borrow the best bits and improve the narrative somewhat. The latest section, in Liams' Hold has been very enjoyable. Confirming that the game probably needs a shift to a more character based form. Rather than combat, I hope to be shifting it in that direction, given that I certainly dont have Harv's flair for describing combat. Well thats that, comments accepted

And I wouldn't say I have a flair for describing combat... I just try to picture it as if it were a film.

Nah you definately have a flair for combat, wether thats because you visualise it first like a film I cant say, but when you sit down and read your combat it is like its happening right there in front of you. Similarly, Phil has a flair for dialogue and Tom has a flair for a campaign building. Id like to think I do interesting characters, but thats just my opinion of me. What Im trying to do, is create a bit more of a site that will read a little better to the outsider. That applies to the players too, as there is a fair bit of information on the boards, it just needs to be refined and portrayed a bit better. I hope by rationalising the information it may be better for everyone involved, including myself.

A flair for dialogue, eh? You're too kind. I'm enjoying what you're doing here, Paul. You're keeping me and Tom off the streets and that can only be a good thing! ;D

Yeah well I had to make up something that everyone is good at Well Im sure that Tom and I had a discussion offline that discussed everyones strengths and yours was dialogue. Anyway Im not fishing for compliments, just looking for some advice or some input. Also if anyone fancies a second character, Id be happy to go along with that. P

So, in order to come up with that hit novel, all we need is a maze of plots written by me, cutting dialogue by Phil, characterisation by Paul and action scenes written by Harv?
Has there ever been such a collaborative effort? I've heard of 2 authors, but FOUR??

We just have to write some world books for a gaming company..... I could get us a slot with Mongoose, if we came up with the good stuff. I know several people there and have been asked several times, but I'm not good enough to come up with my own material. I would gladly co-operate, though.

My suggestion was wholly tongue in cheek. Though its not a terrible idea, what would we write

Who's is Felbin, anyway? Is it your creation, Harv? Nope. I'm using it by very kind permission of Dave Cooksey, DMC Games. Original copyright 1986.
