Cathmhaol nodded in reply. He was getting twitchy - they were moving too slowly for his liking. He didn't want to walk into a trap, but if anyone knew they were here, they had plenty time to prepare.

OOC: Sorry, been busy at work after the point I got to post on Realms II... Going to get retrospective on your asses (since we're not in combat [yet...])
Zeric awaited the return of his familiar from the Spellbane Crossroads as he'd instructed her. Once she was safely perched again on his shoulder, he sent out another mental command to the cat-like creature, feeding her a small scrap of dried meat.
OOC2: Sending the Tressym off to acompany Dace. Her eyes and nose might be a nice compliment to Dace's senses (and maybe she can see beyond the lantern glow...

Dace moved through the door (at point 4) and was gone about a minute... He returned and waved Cathmhaol over. With the door held open, he motioned with a finger against his lips.
He stood in a small room, about three paces by three paces, and a strange set of bones were on the floor by his feet, arranged in an arrow formation, pointing north - Dace tried to indicate all of this through hand gestures, before pointing to the wall opposite the door he had come through.
Leaning close to Cathmhaol, he placed his lips right by his ear, whispering "Hidden door. Do we go through?"
Then, Dace pressed something into the man's hand. "Found this." It was a small gold ring.

"Looks like someone left this as a sign," murmured Cathmhaol. "Ye'd sort o' expect it wasn't left by someone who knows his way aroun' here... Was the ring left wi' the bones?" As he waited for Dace to answer, he flicked the ring to Zeric to take a closer look.
OOC: If the ring was with the bones, I suspect a trap! Is it engraved or have an emblem?

As Dace scouts ahead Milo stands there nervously fidgeting. "I thought the scream sounded like it came from the left." he said pointing towards the nearby door "Do you think whoever it was is okay? What do you think is going on? Should we really let the warriors get so far away? What is that smell? quietly he adds "Is adventuring always this scary?"
When he finds out a ring was found Milo asks "Was it brass?" in an eager voice before muttering a depressed "Oh" upon finding out it was gold.

as the party starts moving out Garat takes up his position, calling shadow to join him.
Following the rest of the party he keeps his eyes and ears open for trouble.

Cathmhaol frowned at Milo to shush the steady stream of questions and, taking Garri by the shoulder, pointed him in the direction of the door he wanted him to check.
OOC: The door near the junction [3].
"As soon as Garri comes back, an' assumin' that door he's checkin' is clear, we go through the hidden door ye found," Cathmhaol said to Dace.
