The door is heavy and made of oak, a round iron handle is attached to the left hand side of the door at about. Its firmly held in place and is flush with the cavern walls, with no obvious locks on the outside of it. You assume that the door is either barred or locked from the inside.

Turning to the others, Dace whispered "We can try to open it, but it might be locked. I'd recommend you give it a try." he said, gesturing to Cathmhaol.

Zeric nodded, "Thank you for that, Vane... I could be ready to cast a spell if need be."

"Enough blather!" said Cathmhaol and stepped forward. He took ahold of the handle and slowly twisted it, putting gentle pressure on the door to see if it would swing open.

OOC - cant beat a good double entendre!
Options are as follows, 1. Pull the door and break the lock. 2. Smash through door, with all the associated noise 3. Find another way in

Cathmhaol shifted his grip on the handle and took the strain. "Y' ready?" he grunted and he hauled hard on the door handle.

Placing his right foot on the wall beside the door, Cathmhaol grabs the iron ring handle and pulls hard. The door slightly bulges under the strain, but sinks back into original position. Pulling again a second time with all his formidable strength, the door gives way with a large CRACK . The warrior from Waterdeep swinging inwards on the door still holding on to the ring. Hoping along on his left leg. Running forward, Vane grabs the door holding it open allowing the others to look in. The door opening reveals a large cavern with stalagmites and stalactites scattered liberally throughout its large area. The cavern seems lit by torches on the walls, lighting a way through it. "Nice one Cathmhaol, but I think you may have given us away." Commented Nimen, almost prophetically. As the the sound of approaching heavy boots coming from the caverns far end. Map: OOC- Actions and whatever you next move is.

Dace steps through and places his back to the wall, drawing both his shortswords. He stands one foot in front of the other, the glowing shortsword held behind his back.
OOC: Readied action to spring forward and attack anyone who comes close and is obviously threatening the party.

Vane moved forward slowly his hammer raised in his right hand. Smiling he sniffed the air "Smells of dry bones in here. Skeletons!" He whispered horsely.
