"On you go then." responded Nimen.

Cathmhaol scowled at Nimen, disliking the woman's tone. He looked at Zeric, "Well, what's so special about it?"Zeric waited a breath or two, before countering with, " The water - it's wet." He ducked away from the expected blow. OOC: Sorry... Thought I'd try that on for size...

Dace climbed into the pool, ducking his head under the water he seems to disapear in the murky water. Leaving the rest of you staring at each other.
OOC- Dace has disapeared into a tunnel or at least you assume its a tunnel.

Its now about five minutes since Dace has disappeared into pool. There are no bubbles, no movement in the pool. He hasnt appeared at all.
OOC- What you doing during the 5 minutes and what are you doing next?

Zeric nodded, "She did indeed, Vane. The passage takes a slight dogleg and ends in a wooden door. She's standing watch on it at the moment."

"Shame we didn't think t' tie a bit o' rope t' him," said Cathmhaol wistfully after a few more minutes. "I suppose someone better go take a look... ... ...Vane, d' ye want t' volunteer?"

Zeric looked somewhat apprehensive, "Don't worry about it, Vane... It's not so bad once you're in."

"Ye pair o' jessies!" scowled Cathmhaol. He put his sword down and started to remove his jerkin, exposing a muscular torso covered in scars and a mat of reddish-brown* hair.
He picked up the rope left by Dace and tied one end securely to his belt. Sheathing his sword, he adjusted the baldric so it wouldn't interfere with his swimming, then took a step towards the pool.
"Yer in charge," he said to Zeric, "Divn't let the lassie tell ye what t' do..." He lowered himself into the pool, "...and don't let go o' the rope! One pull an' I'm ok; two pulls an' I want ye t' get me out o' there."
"Right then..." he muttered, "I'll be off..." He waved to his companions, ducked under the water and pushed off down the tunnel.
*No, not ginger.

"I'm in charge, right boss," Zeric answered to the ripples.
He waited for a suitable length of time for a tug on the rope, signalling that Cathmhaol was through.
OOC1: If the tug comes, then the order should be: Vane, Me and Nimen bringing up the rear (better to have someone of experience be rearguard...
OOC2: What about my familiar? Can I put her in a watertight bag, or will she be able/willing to swim through? OOC3: If not, then the only option would be to split the party and hope the door leads to a joining with the other side of the pool... (which doesn't seem likely in my opinion...)

Your in charge." Sighed Nimen. OOC1 - No problem, you can do it that way OOC2 - I dont think that will work and I doubt she'll like the whole in a bag thing.
OOC3 - Youll have to wait before one of them comes back, if they do to find out. But thats a reasonable assumption. Your right in not wanting to split party (good solid suggestion)

" I'm in charge, right boss," Zeric answered to the ripples. "Right Zeric, whats the plan? " enquired Vane holding the rope.

Zeric turned to Vane, "We wait for a signal from the others - no point in charging in like a bunch of kobolds, that is without any clue of what we're up against... besides, Tress won't like getting her fur wet - she goes in a foul mood for weeks... Also, I really don't like the thought of splitting the group up - makes no tactical sense... so, we wait to see what transpires, eh?"
He looked to Nimen, "What's your take on this situation, elf woman?"
OOC: I saw about 15 minutes of Dungeons & Dragons 2: Elemental Might (or something). And here I thought the first one was bad...

"Id agree Zeric, there is no point in splitting up the party at all. Lets see what transpires, eh?" replied Nimen, grabbing the rope.
