"Im not so smelly now, Zeric." Sneered Vane "You made me wash. Im an Undead hunter, a priest of Kelemvor. Theres something about you, are you a ghost or a vampire maybe?" Zeric rolled his eyes, thinking to himself, " Why am I cursed always to be surrounded by the cretin element? First that idiot brother of mine and now this...?" He answered Vane, " Yes Vane, that is what I said..." Zeric paid attention to the new fellow's reply, " Large hunting dogs, you say? Can you identify the breed?"

Dace looked the other man over. "Sorry? Was that last to me? I don't recall being a vampire or a ghost. I think I'd remember." he smiled. "Oh good! You cant be too careful these days." replied the priest matter of factly. Turning to face the Barman he asks "Where's breakfast? Ill have bacon, eggs, sausage and anything else you got going. Any specials?" The barman smiles and replied "Well theres some Neverwinter Pudding, tastes great fried. But I darent ask what its made of, will that do?" Vane nodded enthusiastically "Cant fight on an empty stomach."

"I'm sorry, Zeric. It was very busy, lots of fighting. They were big, that's about all I could tell."

Zeric nodded, all too aware of the confusion of battle and what it could do to a man's memory, "No matter Dace... "
He turned to Cathmhaol, "So when are we leaving, Boss?

Cathmhaol mopped up the last of his egg yolk with a hunk of bread, stuffed it in his mouth, chewed briefly and swallowed.
He sat there looking pained as the food made its way down his gullet then let out a low belch. "How about now?" he grinned.

Date : Ches the 7th, Year of the the Rogue Dragons (1373 D.R.) Location : Bowshot Time : Late evening, after Sunset Weather: Clear and cold
The journey to Bowshot from Liams Hold is over a days ride, normally but Nimen pushes you hard. Wanting to make the village, in order for you to investigate the attack site in the morning.
Bowshot is the centre of all logging in the area and has been for over a hundred years. It is so named for being within a "Bowshot of the Misty Forest". The success of the logging is immediately apparent, the Forest itself is now miles to the east. The Village itself consists of the Bowshot Inn, A sawmill, a dozen farms and maybe twenty y or so houses. Whose residents are woodcarvers or labourers used in the logging.
Pulling up her horse in the grounds of the lit Inn, Nimen smiles. "Looks as if some of the locals are still up and about. We may get some decent food, rather than some scraps"
OOC- he is a reliable player. Im sure at some point who he is will be revealed

Zeric looked casually around the town of Bowshot as he rode towards the inn, seeking for signs of a populace terrified of bandit raids; absence of people on the streets, shutters barred on windows, etc.
He said nothing to his companions as they approached the inn, but then, Cathmhaol, at least, should be used to the sorceror's silences.

From his place by Nimen's side, Dace nodded an acknowledgement if he saw a friendly face in Bowshot. If he saw a relative of someone who died in the attack, he goes over and, one hand gripping their shoulder, shakes their hand and offers a few words of condolence.
Done, he returns to the group. Looking up at the Inn he turned to the newcomers. "The food here's pretty good."
He leant in close and conspiratorial, and whispered "Just don't ask for his special sausages." He wrinkled his face in an approximation of digust. "The meat tends to be unidentifiable."
Adjusting the weapons on his belt he followed Nimen, sticking close to her and his eyes alert, just in case of attack.

OOC- the attack took place on the road a few miles to the south, not in the village of Bowshot itself. Obviously this causes a concern as the loggers may get attacked, etc..... Well if You went in and asked someone of course

Zeric walked confidently in to the Inn, taking a moment by the door to assess the patrons. He then walked up to the bar and said, "Well met, good innkeeper. My companions and I are in need of shelter on this cold night and sustenance after a long journey. What good vittles are being served in your excellent establishment? Oh, and have you rooms available?"

Cathmhaol yawned loudly, whether through tiredness or Zeric's overly overblown language, it wasn't clear.
