Cathmhaol looked up at the figure that towered above him. "What's yer name, lad? Ye're not part of the militia, are ye?"

Zeric looked on in amusement at the newcomer's attempts to "rally the troops", as it were. Beginning with his brother, it would seem. Oh, well, let's see if the cretin can remember his own name this time... the sorceror thought to himself, allowing himself a small grin. He leaned forward slightly, interested in the exchange and in this loud newcomer who proclaimed himself their new commander.
It's already apparent that he has brawn, but what about brain? Zeric mused, maintaining his seat apart from the others.

Cathmhaol looked up at the figure that towered above him. "What's yer name, lad? You're not part of the militia, are ye?" Throgbut scratched his head and fingered one tusk. He thought he was, yes, he was sure he was, and yet... This man was his boss and his position in the militia seemed in doubt. Ah, but he knew who would know. "Zeric?" he said, looking over his shoulder at his grinning brother. "I is in the militia, aint I?"

Cathnhaol leaned over and looked past the half-orc, "Well, is he in the militia? I've no time to be hanging around!"

The young boy who was with the large half orc spoke up. "Erm Sir! Yes he is Sir!" He threw his hand into a salute "He's a very good fighter, sir! Probably the best in the patrol. But he aint none to bright."
The rest of the misfits began to gather at the tree, interested to see who the newcomer was.

Throgbur glanced over his shoulder at the youth, almost toppling as he span in a circle.
"I am plenty bright, pinky," he bellowed. Then, remembering who was standing in front of him, he stuck out his bottom lip (not to easy with a huge protruding tusk) and shrugged.
"Sorry. I is in the militia. Yes."

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!" The youth laughed, "Your so easy to wind up Throg!"
"He does alright, Sir!" Garrion continued

Throgbur looked down at Garrion and arched his toothy lip, exposing a long tusk. He snarled, once, and then looked back at their new leader.
OOC: Go for an Intimidate on Garrion...

Zeric remained where he was, beneath the tree, keeping to the rear of the group and observing how this new "leader" handled the misfits in his new command.
"This should be an entertaining experience," Zeric thought.

Cathmhaol looked the half-orc up and down, a wry look on his face. "'I is in the militia' eh?" he said. He stepped abruptly to one side, looking at the young man slouching under the tree. "Ye there!", he shouted, "Are ye with this sorry lot or just lookin' f' a boyfriend?"

Throgbur squinted narrowly and looked down at the man in front of him. Officer or not, he wasn't happy with anyone insulting his brother.
"That is my brother." he said, softly and calmly.

"Is that right?!" snarled Cathmhaol, unphased by the half-orc. "But ye didn't answer m' question, did ye? Now, is he in the militia?"

Zeric stepped forward, "As a matter of fact, I am. And if I were looking for a boyfriend, I can assure you it would not be someone as ugly as you, Sir."

"Is that right?" said Cathmhaol, "Well, I'll sleep easy at night knowin' ye're not after m' arse!"
"Now, militia man, ye've an hour to yerself ready, so I suggest ye get movin'!"

"Ye don't even have an hour, Cathmhaol" Bellowed a voice from behind him, which could only be Lieutenant Godfried. "Once ye and yer girlfreind have finished bickering, you can leave together. Select another four of this rabble to go with ye." Godfried brought with him six desperate looking ponies, each one led by a stable boy. "These are the only horses we 'av left in the stables, ye can have them now get the nine hells out of here." Lieutenant Godfried growled at Cathmhaol.
