Cathmhaol grew up in Waterdeep but has not seen the town for 6 years. He left following a promise of fame and fortune, a promise that never materialised leaving him to eke a living as a sometime border guard or a sell-sword accompanying the caravans that make their way through the forests and across the plains, always a ready target for bandits, goblins and worse. He arrived in Daggerford as the winter set in, nursing a gashed arm and broken ribs from a bandit encounter just miles from the town. In no fit state to work, and no caravans to sell his services to, he decided to winter in the town. He quickly attached himself to Birgitta (a barmaid in the local inn) as much for somewhere to live rent free as for any real affection he felt for her, and has spent the last few months healing and regaining his fitness. Once his wounds healed, he kept himself in shape by helping out in the cellar and in the inn, where his commanding presence has kept the more rowdy regulars under control. However, as the winter recedes and his money starts to dwindle, Cathmhaol knows it is time to look for work again. Cathmhaol is bluntly spoken and will say what he thinks. He is strong willed, obstinate and doesn't suffer fools. He won't back down from a fight, unless he judges the odds unsurmountable. He stands 5'7" tall and is of slightly stocky build. His reddish-blond hair is tied back in twin braids that reach down to his shoulders. A thick red beard and cool, green eyes surround his broken nose. He wears leather trousers, with a chain-mail shirt over a padded jerkin. Hanging from a thick leather belt are his longsword and dagger, and an iron shield hangs across his back. Age 33 in 1373 Born 25 Eleint, 1339 DR. Year of the Weeping MoonBorn under the Sign of the Fish and with 1st Qtr Selûne under the sign of the Star Those born under the sign of the Fish are artistic. realmsandrumours.pbwiki.com/ZericZeric seems the polar opposite of his twin half-brother, Throgbur. While the half-orc is big and burly and ugly as they come, the human twin, Zeric is slight, weak and devastatingly handsome. He claims to be a sorceror, but has yet to demonstrate any ability. He has jet black hair, worn long and braided, clad in leather trews and jerkin, he carries a shortspear for defence, although how effectual it is in his hands is a mystery as Zeric often calls off sick from weapons drill (and most of the physical tasks assigned to the "misfits" by their sergeant.) Both Zeric and Throgbur were born to the same mother in the village of Westview, north of Waterdeep. Zeric is likeable, where Throgbur is almost always reviled due to his heritage. Zeric seem to harbour nothing but disdain for his brother, assigning him menial tasks in lieu of himself. Throgbur has nothing but loyalty for Zeric, despite the younger twin's attitude towards him. The brothers left Westview, seeking fame, adventure, riches and power. Signing up with a merchant, they were robbed in the middle of the night, left only with their weapons and a couple of silver pieces which were secreted away from the thieves. Arriving almost penniless in the town of Daggerford, the brothers were left with little option but to seek temporary employ in the militia, or face the teeth of winter penniless and probably find the cold hand of death in a blizzard. Zeric appears quite frail and claims to be in poor health, although no one has seen any evidence of this and Zeric does not elaborate on the nature of any illness he "suffers". Age 20 in 1373 Born 9 Eleint, 1352 DR. A fairly average looking young man, Dace looks to be in his early twenties. He keeps himself clean and presentable, finding that gets him the most guard work, enjoying a bath and clean clothes when time and circumstances permits. That being said, he has no problems getting down and dirty when the situation calls for it. He prefers to wear earthy colours and loose clothing, hooded tops, boots and gloves. He carries several knives about his person, and is never seen without a pair of shortswords and a finely made longsword.

Delora was born 15 winters ago in the city of Baldur's Gate. The only child of a fairly;y successful Merchant. Delora spent most of her life on the road, travelling the Trade Way between Waterdeep and Baldur's Gate. Educated solely by her father this young woman is wise on the ways of the road, but lacks a little in common sense and has a tendency to get herself into trouble by running her mouth off. Delora is a young yet plain girl with tousled shoulder length red hair. She seems to have no interest in her appearance, preferring to let her axe do the talking. She has trained with many a caravan guard in her time on the road and can be considered very skilled with her axe. She is also an expert horseman. She fell in with the Cromm's Daggers' when her and her father were captured by brigands. Following the death of her father she has stayed with the Daggers, offering her talents and strong arm. A 15 year old boy who fancies himself as the best theif in Daggerford , but chose to serve in the militia rather than spend time in jail. Cocky and confident, Garri could be described as arrogant. His hair is unkempt but short coupled with his piercing blue eyes make him look younger than he actually is. Garri seems a reasonable fighter with his rapier, which he allegedly stole from a passing merchant.

Maylene is a beautiful woman, who is always dressed in tight leather armour. She also carries a rapier, dagger and a light crossbow across her back. The most remarkable thing about her, with the exception of her good looks is her broad rimmed hat, made of black leather which has a large white ostrich feather sticking out the top of it. The hat never seems to move from the jaunty angle its placed at.
