[Dungeon Master]

OK - I guess Id better explain how I envisage the rules. Basically they will be based on D20, beyond that Im willing to wing it. But with characters Im looking at keeping them as simple but as interesting as possible.

Im open to the use of others, but remember that Im not one for power gaming so prefer, flavoured prestige classes rather than over powered ones.

4. Stats
32 points to spend.

5. History
Brief history of your character and what hes been doing up till the point he started the adventure with this group. Things to bear in mind are :
Your hometown; is it a large city like forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/Waterdeep or a small village. There are also a number of towns around Daggerford that could be used (forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/Secomber or forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/Daggerford )
Once again, I'm not interested in the mechanics so much as an interesting background and therefore, character.

6. Description
Just a basic description of your character. Hair colour, clothes, scars and any other distinguishing marks. Also a piece about his personality and how that links into their alignment would be a great help too.

Im just looking for people to put together the most interesting and diverse group that will work together.

Thats about it, everything else well do the same way we do on the other boards, wing it . Oh and theres plenty of Realms resources on the web, so use it as much as you can within reason.

Remember that Ill be taking you through some old modules Ive redone and replotted. So there will be some dungeon crawling and combat. But Ill be rejigging them and trying to push them away from combat somewhat.

Open source 3.5! Im not too fussed about rules more characters. Ill cover those if theres an issue, I still use a lot of 2nd ed sourcebooks for this stuff anyway.

Major differences is Multiclassing, Feats and Skills.

That was more or less a joke, but you know, I would if everyone else did.

Do you have a preference on alignment, attitude, personality, etc?

Not really, though I was looking at a neutral to good set of characters. I guess an evil character will fit in fine, what Im looking for is an interesting charatcer. Ive never found a Bwahahaha Bad Guy that interetsing, but an evilcharacter amongst some good guys. Now that might work, with something hiding his alignment.

Oh how do evil characters get jobs for the militia?

It's one of those things that is, I think, a common misconception. Everyone thinks of evil guys as beckstabbing, treasonous bastards. But that aint necessarily so. Why not join the militia and try to gain rank so you can bully everyone else?

I think youve misconstrued. Im not against any evil characters, just didnt envisage it. If any of you can come up with a good reason and a decent character then evils are in.......
