Re: Board Break « Result #1 on Jan 2, 2010, 11:55am »
Again Ive been rather busy over Christmas so, Ive only just now nearly finished the End to Undermountain (for thew time being). This summation post will be posted tomorrow, then I will be looking to start the next stage of the Daggers' adventure at the end of January, as Ive got a lot of background work to put in.
If anyone wants to drop out or have someone added in. Now would be the right times to say it, I can even fit in a change of characters, if someone was bored and wanted to swap.

Due to circumstances beyond my control, job and family commitments, Im suspending the board until the first week in January. I have one final summing up post to make on A Brief Interlude from Undermountain , before the campaign takes an unexpected twist. I hope that wets the appetite for the campaign as a whole. After a couple of years of running this, Im sure your used to me pulling the rug out from under you all.

OOC- Im not sure I need an update from anyone, except Al. Now I think thats Garrat and his wolf plus Xand plus Cath are in the Limbo between worlds and You can assume that Eneval and Garri are stuck on the other side somewhere.
Al send me a PM or post to the thread with any obvious actions. The Others Ill count in as time passes.... or not as the case may be.

The normally taciturn caravan guard smiled in spite of himself at Maylene's quip and nodded toward the nearest cluster of Orcs, drawing a pair of throwing daggers and hurling them at any within range. Keeping his position above the prone Halfling, Dace continued weaving his swords in an intricate pattern, hoping to keep the enemy at bay whilst the others prepared themselves for the coming battle.
"Someone help the Halfling." he snarled, eyes flicking each way as he prepared to meet any oncoming foe. OOC:
I think you can still use Dace's original post, but let me know if you want me to change it.

OOC: Okay, sorry forgot about them... I'll amend as follows...
Zeric took a glance at the approaching gas cloud, assessing the risk of it catching them, versus the threat the remaining orcs posed.
"Form up for a fighting retreat!" he bellowed to the others, trying to match Cathmhaol's commanding tone, and falling far short, he knew.
He whistled to direct the celestial dog to begin harrying attacks upon the orcs, striking as wolves would, nip and dodge, nip and dodge... Mentally he recalled the Tressym and began preparing to draw upon The Weave.
Zeric, almost, but not quite as an afterthought, added, addressing the man who'd dispatched the mage, "Well met, stranger an' thanks. Come, join us in glorious retreat and we'll serve up some introductions provided we've still the spark o' life to do so!"
OOC- you still have the orc problem.... Ill post a map today at some point.
